Senior/Community Centers

Multipurpose senior centers are community facilities for the organization and provision of a broad spectrum of services, which include the provision of health, social, nutritional, and educational and recreational activities. Services offered through senior centers address the special needs of older adults, provide opportunities for older adults to become more involved in the community, and help prevent loneliness and premature institutionalization by promoting personal independence and wellness.
