Program/Service Definitions
Out of Home Respite Care This program provides relief to caregivers at home. Respite care workers will typically provide up to 4 hours of relief to caregivers. The service includes attendant care (assistance with toileting, eating, and ambulation), and basic care (assistance with activities of daily living, routine exercise regimen, and supervision of adherence to medication). A pre-screen and in-home assessment will be conducted prior to initiation of services.
