Hearing Services Assistance for the hearing impaired and deaf older persons provides assistance to better compensate for their losses in daily life. Allowable activities include: education/training relative to community services, rights and benefits for hearing impaired and deaf persons; assistance in obtaining benefits and services; training in techniques for adjusting to lifestyle and living arrangements in response to hearing impairments; and deafness prevention.
