Ombudsman

Care and safety complaints of residents in nursing homes, homes for the aged, and adult foster care homes are investigated under this program. The long term care ombudsman works with residents, families, and appropriate state and federal agencies for remedy. Ombudsman staff also assist family members with such issues as residents rights, financial concerns, guardianship and nursing home placements.
